Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Fast Track) training gives participants the skills and confidence they need to lead teams through the skills to manage, champion and influence the outcomes of large strategic projects.
Our certified Black Belt program is an advanced Lean Six Sigma training course designed to provide expert-level knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma and Change Management.
Overview.
Black Belt (Fast Track) training covers advanced tools and skills required to solve challenging performance problems in transactional environment.
This program draws on both quantitative and qualitative methods. Each participant will gain competency in the use of Minitab™ statistical software to solve common problems across a wide spectrum of industries. Comparing to the standard 8-day Black Belt program, this 5-day fast track program reduces the emphasis on advanced statistical tools that are less relevant to transactional processes.
Additionally, this course prepares Black Belts for their role as change agents in leading and coaching Green Belts and other project resources, facilitating and leading projects, supporting broader operational excellence efforts and serving as internal and external consultants.

Is Black Belt training & certification right for me?
Prior completion of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training, with or without certification, is a prerequisite for entry into this program.

Learning Objectives.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Gain an advanced knowledge base of the Six Sigma DMAIC 15-step process including DMAIC for new product/service implementation
Develop an in-depth understanding of the Lean concepts and tools and how to practically apply them in facilitating a Lean Action Workout
Apply advanced statistical analyses to determine the relationship between inputs and process outputs.
Gain a strong understanding of Change Management principles and the skills to engage and lead key stakeholders
Develop the skills needed to manage large strategic projects and mentor team members and Green Belts
Curriculum.
The duration of this course is spread out over two months in two four-day sessions, allowing time to immediately apply the learning from the first session to the Black Belt projects rolling. We have built in time in our program to allow our facilitator work through the Define & Measure phase of the participant projects. This will help ensure the participants scope & prepare their projects for success.
